Health Minister Rane lauds paramedics for helping deliver baby girl

Panaji: In yet another instance of prompt response and management, 108 services team led by EMT Pundalik Sutar successfully helped a lady deliver a baby girl on Saturday. The act has been lauded by health minister Vishwajit Rane who said that the sole mission of the 108 services saving lives.

Goa 108 Ambulance paramedic EMT Pundalik Sutar and team helped a woman to deliver a baby girl at her home at Curtorim today. Curchorem ambulance received a pregnancy call and on reaching found mother in labour pain.

This is the second case of a paramedic delivering a child. Earlier, EMT Vithal had helped a woman deliver a baby boy on way to the hospital in Quepem.
