Govt to make aptitude test and career guidance mandatory for school students

Panaji: Chief Minister Pramod Sawant today announced to make aptitude
test and career guidance mandatory for the school students from the
coming academic year onwards.
Sawant was speaking during the inauguration of Job Fair organized by
the Department of Labour and Employment.
Chief Minister said that directions have been issued to Department of
Education and Directorate of Higher Education to make aptitude test
and career guidance compulsory for SSC and HSSC students from the
coming academic year onwards.
“This will help the students to choice right career,” he said
lamenting that at present there is complete mis-match in the
qualification and the jobs done by our youths.
