Goa Legislative Assembly Session from Monday

Panaji: The two-day-long State Legislative Assembly Session will begin from Monday (tomorrow).

Goa is heading for general elections in February, next year.

State Legislature Secretary Namrata Ulman told reporters on Sunday that 77 starred and 325 un-starred questions would be tabled during the two day long session, which will culminate on Tuesday.

“There are around 5 to 6, Zero Hour mentions. The members have also given notices for Calling Attention motions on the matters of urgent importance,” she said.

The Obituaries and Congratulatory motions will also be discussed on the floor of the House during these two days, she said.

The Business Advisory Committee report would be tabled during Session.

The House will also pass second set of Demands for Grants, Ulman said adding that Goa Preservation of Trees Amendment Bill will also be laid on the table during the Session.
