Panaji: Spreading its wings further into North Goa, Goa Forward Party has decided to cement its party organization in Mayem constituency.
GFP Vice President Durgadas Kamat and Joint Secretary Santoshkumar Sawant has announced that the booth level committees would be in place in next 8-9 months in the constituency.
Sawant said that the people have been receiving GFP in a big way, which has already given the boost to its ambition of spreading across the constituency.
He said that the party will take the schemes of the departments ruled by GFP ministers – Vijai Sardesai, Vinod Palyekar and Jayesh Salgaoncar – would be taken to every door step in the constituency.
Responding to a question, Kamat said that the party does not want to interfere in the working of BJP MLA Pravin Zantye but instead would compliment him in the social work.
He said that the party will grow in the constituency through its social outlook. “There is no issue of any clash as we all are together working for the society,” he said.
