Panaji: Goa police on Friday arrested five persons working for the organizers of Sunburn EDM festival for stealing tickets worth Rs 82 lakhs, police said.
Deputy Superintendent of Police (Mapusa) Jivba Dalvi told reporters that five persons working for the organizers of Sunburn EDM festival were arrested for stealing the tickets of the event.
Sunburn EDM has began in Goa from December 28 onwards.
Dalvi said that organizers of Sunburn festival had filed complaint against their own employees accusing them of stealing the tickets. He said that tickets worth Rs 50 lakh were recovered from the accused, after their arrest.
