Panaji: Goa’s coronavirus caseload went up by 42 and reached 54,235 on Sunday, a health department official said.
The death toll touched 779 as one of the patients succumbed to the infection during the day, he said.
The number of recovered patients in the state rose to 52,910 with 79 of them getting discharged on Sunday. The number of active cases is now 546, the official said.
“With 1,064 new tests, the total number of tests conducted in the state has gone up to 4,72,229,” he added.
