Panaji: The COVID-19 infection is spreading like a wildfire in the state with 757 new cases reported on Thursday.
Five people died even as the hospitals remain full and the facility like Goa Medical College and Hospital has to admit the patients on stretchers.
With the current addition, total number of active cases has shot up to 5682 in the state with 182 people recovering during the day.
Total 2711 samples were tested by different facilities during the day.
