Panaji: Goa’s COVID-19 caseload went up by 221 and death toll by seven on Wednesday while 321 people were discharged during the day, an official said.
The state now has 42,968 cases of which 2402 are active, who are taking treatment either in hospitals or are Home Quarantined.
The state has registered 592 deaths after seven people succumbed to the infection during the day.
The rate of recovery also continued with the same pace as earlier with 196 people recovering taking tally of recovered patients to 39,974.
A total of 1,801 samples were tested for the infection during the day,.
