Panaji: Goa’’s coronavirus caseload went up by 142 and reached 43,768 on Sunday, a health department official said.
The death toll mounted to 609 as five patients succumbed to the infection during the day, he said.
The number of recovered patients in the state rose to 40,915 with 237 of them getting discharge on Sunday. The number of active cases is now 2,244, the official said.
“A total of 892 samples were tested during the day,” he added.
