Margao: The traffic congestion near Colva circle on the way to Kadamba Bus Stand in Margao city would be a thing of past.
The Margao Municipal Council (MMC) has decided to reduce the size of Colva circle to make way for the traffic.
MMC Chief Officer Siddhivinayak Naik said that the municipality will take up the work to trim the size of the circle from 9 metres to mere 3 metres on Friday night.
“This will provide additional space for the vehicles to pass. That will help in decongesting the traffic at this stretch,” he said.
The MMC has taken formal permission from the Collector (South) to trim the circle.
