Panaji: Chief Minister Pramod Sawant unveiled the “Gomantbhumi Janak Parshuram” Statue at Panaji today.
In a tweet released here, Sawant wrote “the statue of #BhagwanParashuram embodies the enduring essence of #Yoga. The statue is an enduring tribute to the creator of Gomantak Bhoomi.”
“This project is developed under the Panaji Smart City project of Restoration & Protection of the Coastline of Mandovi River. The project includes a Promenade from Pedestrian Arch Bridge near ESG to Children Park themed as ‘Tapaloka’ Yog Kshetra. It consists of Sinha Dwar, Yog Setu, Yog Stambh, Yog Dalan, Yog Mandal, Yog Path, Pranayam kshetra, Asthang Yog Kshetra and the Bhagwan Parashuram statue.
