Porvorim: Independent MLA Rohan Khaunte today demanded that Chief Minister Pramod Sawant should resign from the chair, if he fails to get appointment with Prime Minister Narendra Modi to discuss Mahadayi issue.
He said that it was pointless for all party delegation to meet Union Environment Minister Prakash Javadekar.
Khaunte along with Goa Forward Party Chief Vijai Sardesai, Mahila Congress Goa chief Pratima Coutinho, Shiv Sena Goa chief Jitesh Kamat and others protested at Porvorim and blocked the National Highway.
