Navelim: BJP may have won in Navelim Assembly segment for recently held elections but for Panchayat polls, its stronghold Rumdamol panchayat has shown adverse results.
The heavyweights of the party lost in their respective wards. In what seems to be MLA Ulhas Tuenkar losing the ground, out of nine seats, BJP won on only two.
Amongst the disaster includes BJP Goa spokesman Urfan Mulla, BJP’s tall leader Mudukalla and also Ms Faniband, wife of Shaikh Jinah.
Jinah has been one of the oldest leader in this constituency.
