Panaji: A delegation of Goa Pradesh Youth Congress Committee called on the Governor of Goa regarding a strong demand to deter state goverments move to bring a dracorian bill on cultivation of cannabis in the state of Goa.
Goa Pradesh Congress Committee president Adv Varad Mardolkar was accompanied by GPCC General Secretary Janardhan Bhandari, North District President Vivek D’Silva, South District President Ubed Khan, Gen Sec Adv. Archit Naik, General Secretary Glean Cabral, Gen Sec Manoj Naik, Mapusa Youth President Himanshu Tivrekar, St Andre Youth President Saish Aroskar, Siolim Youth President Roshan Chodankar and others.
It maybe recalled that the proposed cannabis cultivation file movement in the government has sparked controversy with the opposition heavily critisising the government.
