Panaji: While rumours are rife about change in leadership in long absence of chief minister Manohar Parrikar, Goa Forward Party president Vijai Sardesai has said that he will stand by the word given to Parrikar.
“While the Congress is trying to change the CM and be the CM and some others are talking some other thing, I am trying to get my CM back from America hale and hearty to Goa,” Sardesai has said in a tweet.
“Goemkars are known for their word, we will stand by ours. That is Goenkarponn,” he said.
MGP minister Sudin Dhavalikar had recently stirred controversy after he had said that he is mentally prepared to take over as the chief minister.
