Panaji: In what seems to be positive sign for COVID-19 treatment in Goa, two of the five patients who were tested positive earlier has now tested negative.

State health minister Vishwajit Rane said that the test results that were out on Thursday has claimed that two of the patients out of five are negative.

“We will be repeating the test again tomorrow. And if the tests are negative again then they would be shifted to quarantine facility under the observation of doctors,” Rane said.

All the five positive patients are being treated at specially designated COVID-19 hospital in South Goa.

Rane said that the negative results for the tests conducted on the patients who were earlier tested positive is a matter of encouragement.

Team Goa has been dedicatedly working under guidance of Chief minister Pramod Sawant. “This could happen only because of the proper management of the treatment,” he said.
