Margao: Several trains on Konkan Railway Corporation Limited’s route has been delayed since Sunday, due to commissioning of double tracking between Majorda and Cansaulim in South Goa by South Western Railway, an official said.
KRCL’s Deputy General Manager Baban Ghatge said that the trains on Konkan Railway route are delayed by at least three to four hours since Sunday due to the ongoing work of South Western Railway.
He said that the SW Railway has been commissioning double tracking of its route between Majorda and Cansualim Railway Stations in South Goa. He said that the trains are expected to be resuming its regular schedule by Monday evening.
“Almost all the trains on KRCL are delayed since Sunday,” he said.
