A one-day training Programme for the teachers of Higher Secondary Schools and teaching National Skill Qualification Frame Work, (NSQF) subjects in the School on the Topic “Development on Entrepreneurship for Self Employment Among Students” was organised jointly by Economic Development Corporation (EDC), Goa and Goa Board of Secondary and Higher Secondary Education, Alto-Betim, Goa.
Shri. Sadanand Shet Tanawade (Chairman of EDC), inaugurated the programme. In his Inaugural speech he stressed the need for development of Entrepreneurship qualities among students at early age. He also assured to extend full support for carrying out programmes related to Entrepreneurship in the school.
Shri. D. Prashant, Shri. Manguirish Pai Raikar, Shri. Ralph De Souza, Shri. Ravindra Manerkar, Shri. Pravin Sabnis, Shri. Carlos De Sa and Shri. Sanju Joglekar guided the participants on various topic such as Entrepreneurship as career, Opportunities in Horticultural Sector, Opportunities in Hospitality Sector, Start-ups and Opportunity in IT Sector, Entrepreneurship Skills, Scheme of EDC and Entrepreneurship & Environment respectively.
Shri. Ramkrishna S. Samant, Chairman of Goa Board of Secondary and Higher Secondary Education, Alto-Betim, Goa, welcomed the gathering and briefed about aims and objectives of the programme.
Shri. Sidharth Kuncalienkar (ex-Chairman of EDC), Shri. Purshottam Pednekar and Shri. Ralph De Souza (EDC Directors), Shri. Kiran Ballikar (Managing Director of EDC), Prof. Nandkumar Kamat were present on this occasion.
