Curchorem: Goa Forward Party President Vijai Sardesai has said that those who are indulged in corruption and cheating cannot call themselves as “ShivBhakts.”
In a post on his Instagram account after attending Shiv Jayanti function at Curchorem in presence of MLA Nilesh Cabral, Sardesai wrote “I congratulate Curchorkars who are taking ahead the tradition and legacy of Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj.”
“Shivaji Maharaj was an ideal King as he formed Hindavi Swaraj which gave respect to common people and women.”
“One cannot call himself to be ShivBhakt by shouting slogans like Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj and then indulging in corruption and cheating.”
“Those fighting against injustice in the society and work for good governance are real followers of Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj.”
