Sanguem: Sanguem MLA Prasad Gaonkar who had hosted the event for which BJP candidate Narendra Sawaikar and Shiv Sena candidate Rakhi Prabhudesai Naik were snapped together, has said that it was mere coincident that both the the leaders came at the same time.
“There is no political tone for their picture. As they had come for Pooja at Laxminarayan, I invited them at my place and we shared meal. Someone clicked the picture,” he said.
Gaonkar said that Pooja is an annual event for which many people come.
He said that Chief Minister Pramod Sawant had also come little before Sawaikar and Rakhi arrived within a gap of five minutes.
