Panaji: Panaji MLA Babush Monserratte said that the capital city will take up steps to ensure that it “walks towards making the residence self suistainable for water.”
He said that the misuse of ground water will also be controlled while local civic body will take up with the departments like Town and Country Planning and Water Resources Department to ensure that Rain Water harvesting is mandatory for new structures.
He said that the wells and ponds would be given stress in the city which act was a natural rain water harvesting places.
