Panaji: Social activist Tara Kerkar has questioned decision of Crime Branch to file closure report in connection with Siddhi Naik death case.
Dead body of Siddhi was found in August last year. Kerkar addressed press conference along with father of the deceased demanding to reopen the case and change the investigating officer.
Kerkar said that there is enough evidence to arrest the accused, which is ignored by the Crime Branch.
She said that the inquiry should be conducted by CBI into this matter.
She said that there is enough evidence in the case. “What did you find in her mobile? Why have you kept the mobile phone to yourself? You are saying no evidence.”
