Dharbandora: Hours after joining Goa Forward Party (GFP), Mayem-based leader Santosh Kumar Sawant reached out to the mining workers at Dharbandora assuring them all the possible help.
The workers under the banner of Employees Union of Sesa Mining Corporation has been on protest at Dharbandora demanding immediate resumption of mining activities in the State.
Sawant who met the workers assured support from Goa Forward Party and also its leader Vijai Sardesai.
“I have joined the Goa Forward Party as I am sure only they can help us in solving this mining crisis,” Sawant said.
GFP yesterday had made it clear that they will not compromise on the mining issue and would force BJP to find the solution immediately.
