Panaji: Crime branch has arrested 75-year-old Russian woman and her son for overstaying in the coastal state.
Goa Police spokesman said that the Crime branch has booked and arrested Russian national Bliznetsova Liudmila (75) and her son Andrei Bliznetsov (48) for overstaying in the state.
The spokesman said that the case against both was registered on April 04, 2025 when they were found to be staying in Goa (India) without valid visa.
He said that both were found to be living at Dando, Siolim village in North Goa.
“Both foreigners are placed under arrest in under section 7 (1) (3) of the Foreigners Order 1948 R/w section 14 of Foreigners Act 1946,” he said.
