Porvorim: Porvorim MLA Rohan Khaunte distributed food grains and other essential items in the eve of Christmas in different wards of his constituency.
The statement posted by Khaunte on social media reads: In the spirit of Christmas and New year celebrations, distribution of food grains and other essential items was done in all the wards of Porvorim constituency.
“A practice since 2009, this becomes even more significant in light of soaring prices of essential commodities,” he added.
