Good news for passengers!!! It has been decided to restore the services & increase frequency of following Special Trains in co-ordiantion with Central Railway, South Western Railway & Southern Railway.
1) Restoration of services of Train no. 01197 / 01198 Pune Jn. – Ernakulam Jn. – Pune Jn. Weekly Express Special (Fully Reserved) :
Train no. 01197 Pune Jn. – Ernakulam Jn. Weekly Express Special (Fully Reserved) will leave from Pune Jn. at 22:10 hrs every Saturday from 25th September 2021 until further advice. Train will reach Ernakulam Jn. at 03:20 hrs on the third day.
Train no. 01198 Ernakulam Jn. – Pune Jn. Weekly Superfast Special (Fully Reserved) will leave from Ernakulam Jn. at 18:50 hrs every Monday from 27th September 2021 until further advice. Train will reach Pune Jn. at 23:35 hrs on the next day.
Train no. 01197 will halt at Satara, Karad, Sangli, Miraj Jn., Ghatprabha, Belgavi, Londa Jn., Castle Rock, Kulem, Sanvordem Curchorem, Madgaon Jn., Karwar, Gokarna Road, Kumta, Honnavar, Murdeshwar, Bhatkal, Mookambika Road Byndoor, Kundapura, Udupi, Mangaluru Jn., Kasaragod, Kanhangad, Payyanur, Kannur, Thalessery, Kozhikode, Tirur, Shoranur Jn., Thrissur, Alwaye & Ernakulam Town stations
Train no. 01198 will halt at all above stations except Ernakulam Town station.
Composition : Total 22 Coaches = 2 Tier AC – 01 Coach, 3 Tier AC – 04 Coaches, Sleeper 11 Coaches, Second Seating – 04 Coaches, SLR – 02
2) Increase in frequency of services of Train no. 01150 / 01149 Pune Jn. – Ernakulam Jn. – Pune Jn. Weekly Superfast Special (Fully Reserved) from Weekly to Bi- Weekly :
Train no. 01150 Pune Jn. – Ernakulam Jn. Superfast Special (Fully Reserved) earlier running every Sunday will now run every Sunday & Wednesday with effect from 29/09/2021.
Train no. 01149 Ernakulam Jn. – Pune Jn. Superfast Special (Fully Reserved) earlier running every Tuesday will now run every Tuesday & Friday with effect from 01/10/2021.
