Panaji: The ghost of police-politician-drug paddler nexus seems to be chasing Roy Naik, son of Congress leader Ravi Naik, even now. In the latest development, Roy has been summoned by Special Investigation Team of Crime Branch on June 29 to depose before them.
The SIT headed by Deputy Superintendent of Police Edwin Colaco is probing the House Committee report on the nexus submitted in the year 2013 by the committee led by then Nuvem MLA Francisco Pacheco.
Roy has been named by Swedish model Lucky Farmhouse as one of the accused in the nexus. Her then boyfriend Atala alias Yaniv Benaim was also arrested by police.
Then 33-year-old model had said that she could identify the son of politician. She had also said that it was shocking that he was son of a home minister.
