Panaji: Porvorim MLA Rohan Khaunte lambasted at the government’s policing at Goa borders after the thieves accused in Porvorim theft case were arrested in Delhi.
Four days after the committing ATM theft at Porvorim, the four robbers were nabbed in Delhi on Thursday.
The Porvorim MLA called on the chief minister and alleged that the incident highlights CM’s ‘callous attitude’ on deteriorating law and order in the state.
Khaunte in a tweet wrote, “The arrest of Porvorim ATM robbers in Delhi points to the porous border policing which enables hardcore criminals to enter & exit Goa with ease. Leaves much to be desired about the @goacm’s callous attitude on deteriorating Law & Order situation in Goa.”
