Panaji: While lauding PM Narendra Modi as global leader par excellence, State Health Minister Vishwajit Rane said that the PM’s personal intervention has resulted in Goa coming up with the Cancer Hospital in the state.
Addressing a press conference in Panaji on Wednesday, Rane said that the Cancer Hospital with the help of Tata Memorial Hospital is coming up in the state. “This is entirely due to the personal intervention of PM Narendra Modi,” he said.
The minister said that the state has already started Out Patient Department (OPD) in the Goa Medical College and Hospital providing free chemotherapy for the cancer patients.
“The serious politics means speak less and do more works,” he said. Narrating his personal experience, Rane said “today my mother is suffering from breast cancer. The treatment costs whopping sum like Rs 60 lakh or more than Rs one crore.”
Rane said that though he is a health minister, he could not do anything for her (through government facility).
“I have been trying my level best (to provide the facility). I don’t want others to suffer the same way, that is why country’s one of the topmost cancer hospital is being built in Goa,” he said.
The minister said that PM Narendra Modi has directly intervened and with the help of Tata Memorial hospital, the facility is coming up here.
“All these aspects should be considered by the congress party while levelling allegations against BJP. Whatever allegations they may level,BJP has done good work,” he added.
Rane said that the BJP candidates will get huge lead in the constituencies from Sattari taluka and also Bicholim
“People want Modi ji as the prime minister. All of us are assisting the chief minister. Our only aim is to get PM Modi. We have seen the era of scams. We want people’s welfare and work for the people,” he said.
Rane said that PM Narendra Modi is a global leader par excellence. “BJP will win both the seats,” he added.
