Panaji: Chief Minister Manohar Parrikar’s absence in the State has certainly impact the State, but people of Goa are understanding that he is unavailable due to medical reasons, Goa Forward Party President Vijai Sardesai said today.
“There will be certainly an impact on State administration due to absence of the chief minister. But it is not by choice that he is absent, he has medical issues,” he said.
“The people need to understand. I think people from Goa understand his situation. At the same time, chief minister has delegated powers to good Bureaucrats. Although his absence is being felt we are trying our level best not to make his absence felt through the governance,” the minister said.
Sardesai said that health is something that is not predictable. “One should not see too much into this. I have met while returning from abroad. I think he will come back by Wednesday, as they have announced.
