Panaji: MGP legislator Dipak Pawaskar was told by the chief minister that the meeting to resolve the current crisis on mining industry and resolve sufferings of the dependents would be held on Monday or Tuesday.
“I met chief minister at around 3.30 p.m. our discussions were around resumption of mining, protection to the mining workers who are being laid off by the companies and financial help to the truck owners,” Pawaskar said.
“He said that he will call for the meeting on Monday or Tuesday to discuss the issue. He will call all the concerned MLAs from the mining belt, Advocate General and Director of Mines and Geology,” the legislator added.
