Vasco: Chief Minister Manohar Parrikar was flown to Delhi for his follow up treatment at All India Institute of Medical Sciences.
Parrikar, 63, has been recuperating at his private residence near here since October 14 when he was discharged from AIIMS.
“Chief Minister flew to Delhi at around 6 p.m. after the concluding of ongoing State Legislative Assembly Session,” a senior official from Chief Minister’s Office said.
The follow up treatment of the Chief Minister was pending due to the inauguration of Atal Setu (third Bridge on River Mandovi) and State Legislative Assembly Session, he said.
Parrikar who has been treated at various hospitals including Goa Medical College and Hospital, Goa, Lilavati in Mumbai and a private facility in the USA was admitted in AIIMS last year from where he was discharged only to be treated at a make shift medical facility set up at his private residence.
