Panaji: Health department on Sunday permitted all the Out Patient Departments including that in Goa Medical College and Hospital (GMCH) from Wednesday onwards with fifty percent capacity.
State Health Minister Vishwajit Rane on Sunday approved the noting of the department which had suggested opening of all the OPDs in the state run institutions including GMCH.
“We may open all OPDs including GMC with 50 per cent load factor from Wednesday. Protective gears and N95 masks to be provided to the doctors conducting OPDs,” Rane has said in a noting moved to the department.
With this order, all the OPDs in Community Health Centres, Primary Health Centres, Urban Health Centres and all the district and sub district hospitals will start from Wednesday.
