Pernem Police have arrested one Bangalore native for illegal possession of charas and Ganja.
As per PI Jivba Dalvi information was received from reliable sourced that one person is involved in durg activities at Arambol, Pernem – Goa.
Further on 14/03/2021 police traced the accused person at nr banyan tree, Harambol and conducted a surprise raid during which the narcotics drugs charas and ganja was found to be in his possession.
The charas and Ganja was immediately seized and taken into custody under the panchanama. The seized drugs is worth Rs.20,000/- in international market.
The accused person has been identified as Mr. Keltsang Dorjee, age 41 yrs N/o Bangalore, Karnataka.
The raid was conducted at 09:00 pm to 11:00 pm at.
An offence under section 20(b)(ii)(A) of NDPS Act has been registered.
The raid was conducted by PI Jivba Dalvi and consisted of PSI Sanjit Kandolkar, Hc Chandrakant Parsekar, police constables Anishkumar Poke, Ravi Mahloji, Gajanan Sawant and Vishnu Gad.
Further investigation is in progress under the supervision of SDPO Gajanan Prabhudessai and SP NORTH Utkrisht Prasoon IPS.
