Panaji: Porvorim MLA Rohan Khaunte took a dig at chief minister Pramod Sawant and sarcastically said “once bitten, twice shy” over appointment of Lokayukta. Khaunte in a tweet wrote that the chief minister is hesitant to appoint a Lokayukta after the previous Lokayukta pin pointed his ‘misgovernance’.
“After being castigated repeatedly by previous Lokayukta for Mis-Governance and aiding Corruption, it seems @DrPramodPSawant is hesitant to appoint the new Lokayukta fearing further exposes. Once bitten, twice shy, eh Dr Corruption?,” Khaunte wrote in a tweet.
