Margao: Goa Forward Party Chief and Deputy Chief Minister Vijai Sardesai planted Mancurado mango saplings at Ravindra Bhavan, Fatorda on World Environment Day.
Ravindra Bhavan’s Chairman Prashant Naik was amongst the dignitaries present on the occasion. The event was organised by NGO Transform Goa.
Sardesai tweeted” On #WorldEnvironmentDay2019 planted #Mancurado saplings at Ravindra Bhavan #Fatorda as part of an initiative by #NGO #TransformGoa to ensure global outreach to this premier Goan mango variety, a symbol of #Goenkarponn.”
