Panaji: The North Goa collector R Menaka has issued an order diverting traffic from Old Goa via Ribander crossway for six days from today.
The temporary diversion of traffic is for laying of the HT cable from Chorao ferry point to Balbhim Mahrudra Sansthan Temple till May 13.
Collector has clarified that the normal flow of traffic on the parallel and surrounding roads will not be obstructed.
The vehicular traffic proceeding to Panaji to Old Goa via Divja Circle-Ribandar Patto shall take the normal route. The vehicular traffic from Old Goa desiring to proceed to Panaji shall be diverted at main junction Old Goa Gandhi circle to take route via a Kadamba Plateau. One way traffic shall be allowed on the said road.
Regular route buses shall take the normal route.
