Panaji: Leader of Opposition Digamber Kamat today demanded that government should fix responsibility and take action against all those involved in getting the naphtha-laden vessel into Goan waters.
“Right from day one we have been saying that government should give clarity on the vessel as who is consignee, how it came into MPT jurisdiction, who brought it etc. But there is complete silence on these questions,” he said.
“I don’t understand why no action is been taken against all those involved in getting the vessel inside MPT. Government should fix responsibility and take action,” he added.
Kamat said that the ship is today causing danger to the life of the people and so also the marine life is at risk.
