Panaji: Goa government has said that there would be no COVID-19 related restrictions in the state till January 2.
Chief Minister Pramod Sawant told reporters in Panaji that the state will not impose any COVID-19 related restrictions in the state till January 02, but will review the situation on January 03.
Sawant, who attended a high level meeting on COVID-19 in presence of State Health Minister Vishwajit Rane, said that the people should voluntarily adopt COVID-19 appropriate behaviour.
He said that as per the Central government’s guidelines, the State will have mock drill on December 27 to check the preparedness to fight back any coronavirus outbreak.
Sawant said that the State authorities have already started random check of the international passengers arriving in the state. He said that two percent of the International Passengers arriving in the state are being tested.
