Calangute: Calangute Police Team headed by PI Nolasco Raposo comprising of PSI Viraj Naik, Police Constables Vinod Naik, Vinay Shrivastav, Suresh Naik and Dinesh Morajkar whilst patrolling apprehended accused person namely Chinedu Nwafor, aged 31 years, a Nigerian National near Dophin circle, Naikawaddo, Calangute in the morning of 08/12/2019 for illegal possession of 9 grams cocaine, 4 grams MDMA, 8 grams Ecstasy, 12 grams Charas, 0.130 gram LSD papers, all worth Rs 1,85,000/- n his Activa scooter bearing reign No GA 03 AL 3143. This was a hatrick of the third African National arrested in a narcotic case within 3 consecutive days by Calangute Police. This was also the 41st narcotic drugs case booked at Calangute Police Station for the current year till date. The Goa Police is committed towards zero tolerance of drugs and our action against drugs and other illegalities will continue. Further investigation in this case is conducted by L/PSI Sonam Verekar under the direction of PI Calangute Mr Nolasco Raposo and overall supervision of SDPO Porvorim Mr Edwin Colaco and SP North Mr Utkrisht Prasoon.
