Vasco: Mormugao Planning and Development Authority will take up for re-drafting Outline Development Plan for Vasco Planning area as per the instructions of Town and Country Planning department.
MPDA Chairman Carlose Almeida said that as per the government directives, the Chief Town Planner (Planning) vide order dated 28/12/2018 has directed the MPDA to redraft the Outline Development Plan for Vasco da Gama Planning area.
This matter was discussed in the third meeting held on 25/1/2-19 of the MPDA. As per the provision of TCP Act, 1974, the land use plan and land use register will be prepared after following all the procedures as per the Town and Country Planning Act.
The Land Use Plan and register will be notified and adopted, he said.
Almeida said the ODP for Vasco will be taken up afresh by following the procedures envisaged under section 29, 30 and 34 to 37 of Town and Country Planning Act, 1974.
