Valpoi: For last six months, the road connecting Nanus to Ganjem in Sattari taluka has been dug by the Public Works Department, turning it into accident-prone for the travelers. The road is dug for laying the pipeline for Opa Water project.

The locals claim that they can’t even ride two-wheeler on the road, which is kept ina bad shape.

PWD Department and the PWD Minister Deepak Pawaskar have made the daily routine life of local miserable, while digging the Ganjem village road very badly, say local.

The locals claim that when there was curfew during the pandemic, the road work could have been completed as the number of vehicles on the road had decreased.

But they were incapable to do so and now in this monsoon season cars and heavy vehicles are getting off the road, and the trucks are going off the road very badly. In future it’s no far away someone or the other will also meet with an accident over there, say Ganjem villagers.

The Ganjem road is in such a bad condition like how Goa Government operates and  specially the sitting MLA of Valpoi constituency and the Health Minister of Goa, Vishwajit Rane have mismanaged the whole Pandemic with just a blame game, says a villager.

The Villagers demand to the Government that to repair the main road of Nanus to Ganjem village priority level.
