Panaji: The heat witnessed in the State is likely to continue for eight more days.
According to the report in Times of India, the monsoon arrival has been delayed and it is expected to reach the state by June 12-14.
Quoting IMD, the newspaper has said that monsoon is expected to arrive in Kerala on June 6 while it will proceed from there to Goa and reach by June 12.
Now it is to be seen whether Education department postpones the reopening of the schools considering the heat or continues with its earlier schedule. The schools are starting on June 06.
