Panaji: Goa Mining People’s Front (GMPF) continued their efforts to push authorities to work for resumption of mining industry.
The front held a morcha in Panaji city today which began from Bandodkar ground at Campal and culminated at Azad Maidan.
Several hundred mining dependents participated in the march.
The delegation of mining dependents led by Puti Gaonkar also submitted memorandum to Chief Secretary Parimal Rai.
The people are demanding that the mining activity should resume as soon as possible.
