Sattari: Due to continued heavy rainfall, Mhadei river was overflowing on Thursday. The water entered into few of the villages located on the bank of the river.
The main road connecting Sonal village to Valpoi town was flooded with water. The locals were not able to travel to the town.
It has been a regular affair for Sonal villagers, who are stuck in their locality for almost a week, as the roads continue to be underwater.
All the tributaries of Mhadei river in Sattari taluka are overflowing.
