Ponda: Sudhir Raut was today unanimously elected as Deputy Sarpanch of Curti-Khandepar village panchayat. Raut is a MGP leader.
Raut said that he was elected unopposed with no other panchayat members filing the nomination.
He thanked MGP leader Ketan Bhatikar for supporting him during the course of the election, and also guiding him in his political career.
He said that he would be working for the development of the village panchayat area.
