Loknete Pratapsinh Mohitepatil International Short Film festival is being organized under the esteemed guidance of Dr.Dhavalsinh Pratapsinh Mohitepatil and Mrs. Urvashiraje Dhavalsinh Mohitepatil. This festival is one of its kind and the few factors that make it stand out are
1. No Entry Fees
2. Separate category for Mobile films.
3.Awards in each category.
4. We felicitate people who have made a large contribution towards cinema.

We are excited to announce that this year as a jury member we have Ms. Azar Faramarzi, an emerging young talented and dynamic film maker from Iran. Her work as a film director, actor and writer has earned Ms. Azar an international reputation.

The Akluj International Short Film Festival is the brain child of Dr. Dhavalsinh Mohitepatil. The thought behind this is to enable each and every filmmaker across the world to send in their films and also to screen the films of aspiring young filmmakers so that they can be encouraged to express their views on this international platform. There are many filmmakers who face financial and technical problems. So to motivate these filmmakers the festival has come up with a Mobile\Cell Phone category.

The festival also commemorates those artists who have made a great contribution towards cinema. They will be honoured by the “Pratapsinh Mohitepatil Jeevan Gaurav Award” These talented artists will be interviewed and their journeys will be published for young talents to read and get inspired and they will also get an opportunity to interact and learn from them.

The LAST DAY for submission of entries will be 30th May 2019. The screening will take place from 25th to 27th of June 2019 at Smruti Bhavan auditorium in Akluj. The Award Function will be held on the 27th evening.

Looking forward to your enthusiastic participation.
