Vasco: Residents of Vasco have raised their strong objections over the neglected Mormugao fort which is officially a heritage site.
According to the Heritage Lovers, the fort has not been by the archeology department. The lack of maintenance has led the fort to become paradise for anti social activities, including for consumption of liquor and drugs.
The Mormugao fort is one of the ancient forts of Goa and attracts lots of tourists.
