Panaji : The Konkani monthly Gulab in association with Fr Freddy J da Costa Memorial Trust (FFJDCMT), Konkani Bhasha Mandal (KBM), Felicio Cardoso-Che Pattlavdar (FCP) and Ravindra Bhavan, MArgao will celebrate Konkani Journalism Day on February 2, 2021 at 4 PM at Ravindra Bhavan’s conference hall, Margao to commemorate the publication of the first konkani journal ‘Udentechem Sallok’, on February 2, 1889, from Pune by the late Eduardo Jose Bruno de Souza.
Editor of Prudent Media, Pramod Acharya will be the guest of honour for the function and deliver a talk on ‘Goychi Osmitai Ani Potrkariteche Bhumika’. The event will also have Fr Freddy J Da Costa and felicio CArdoso Memorial Day celebration followed by facilitation and presentation of 2019 Fr Freddy J Da Costa Memorial Gulab awards and Felicio Cardoso’s Journalism award.
