Panaji: The Goa Industrial Development Corporation (IDC) Board meeting held today resolved to digitize all its record through Goa Electronics Limited (GEL).
Industries Minister Vishwajit Rane chaired the meeting, which was attended by IDC chairman Glen Ticlo and other members.
Rane told reporters that government is working towards revamping the entire functioning of IDC.
“We have to digitize all the records of IDC. The Board today deliberated on the issue. IDC will hold discussion with GEL. GEL will handle some portion of digitization while IDC will appoint a private company to cover the balance,” Rane said.
IDC has also resolved to rope in agency- Sodexo to provide nutritious food to the workers and employees working in various industrial estates.
On pilot basis, the Sodexo industrial canteen would be launched at Verna industrial estate.
